Whether your team is just starting out or looking to sharpen advanced defensive skills, Centershot’s Private Lessons for Church Security are designed to bridge the gap between "having a CPL" and being truly prepared to defend your sanctuary.

Training highly skilled and prepared Church Security teams is important to Centershot Gun Range and our Instructors.  Some churches don’t have any armed security, some just let average CPL holders carry while in sanctuary, others want to get skilled and prepared!

REMEMBER – the purpose of professional training is to improve your skills and preparedness!  Are your team members going to the range or are they TRAINING and getting better?  How big is your sanctuary?  Could you make a shot at that distance?​

Private Lessons: Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can you help us with our specific qualification? Yes. We can administer and document your team’s qualification for insurance or internal records.

  • Do we need to bring our own gear? We recommend training with the gear you carry at church. However, we provide FREE use of our .22 LR training pistols for skillbuilding, and additional rentals are available if needed.

  • What should my team wear? Safety first! Please wear closed-toe shoes and a shirt with a relatively high neckline. We suggest wearing the type of clothing you would normally wear while serving on security.
