NRA Range Safety Officer

®

NRA Range Safety Officer certification clinic.

This is the certification class to become a nationally certified NRA RSO.

9 hours 

This is an all classroom course, no firearms are needed.  Students will be required to be interactive and participate.

We will cover the role of the Range Safety Officer (RSO), range Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), range safety briefings, range inspections & rules, emergency procedures, and how to clear firearm stoppages.

 

Lunch will be provided.

NRA Metallic Cartridge Reloading

This course exposes students to the fundamentals of metallic cartridge reloading.  It is designed to enable shooters with little or no prior experience in reloading to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, & attitude to produce safe, consistent, and accurate reloaded ammunition.

8-9 hour course.

Lunch is provided.

REFUSE TO BE A VICTIM

®

This is not a firearms instruction course and does not include instruction in physical combat self-defense. Learn common weaknesses that criminals may take advantage of, and a variety of corrective measures that are practical, inexpensive and easy to follow. Classroom instruction on criminal psychology, automobile crimes, cyber safety, home security, and a variety of crime prevention strategies including carjack avoidance techniques, use of personal safety devices, and more. Students receive the Refuse To Be A Victim® student handbook, brochure, firearms supplement, and course certificate.

Requirements

  • Be able to read, speak, and understand the English language

  • Be at least 16 years of age.

NRA NEW SHOOTER SEMINAR

Step One of your journey learning about firearms and shooting.  This is the pre-entry level class for those who want a basic overview of firearms, firearm ownership, & shooting.  Class reviews all firearm platforms, safety, storage, ammunition, & what to expect the first time you go to a range.   No knowledge or experience necessary!

NRA Basics of Pistol

The NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course introduces students to the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely. Through this course, the students will learn about firearm safety, pistol parts and operation, ammunition, pistol shooting fundamentals, adjusting their sights (sighting in), shooting positions, proper marksmanship fundamentals, and pistol shooting activities they can do on their own to improve their skills into the future.

60+% of this class is hands on. 

 

Approximately 3 hours on the range!  We finish the day learning the proper way to clean & maintain your pistol so you go home with a clean firearm.

This is the most thorough Basic Pistol Course available. If you’re new to pistol shooting, want to build a foundation for better marksmanship, or want to confidently qualify for your concealed pistol class- this will get you there!  Every level shooter will learn better marksmanship in this class.

NRA Home Firearm Safety

Take charge of your family’s safety and get the basic knowledge and skills to safely handle or store firearms and ammunition in the home.

This course is designed to give you the confidence to safely handle and UNLOAD the various firearm action types.

This is an excellent class for individuals new to firearm ownership, babysitters, in-home caregivers, or those living with someone who keeps firearms in the home.

-Classroom Instruction Only.  NO LIVE FIRE SHOOTING.
